Multiple warrants issued in Justice Court

ASHLAND — Benton County Justice Court was in session on Tuesday, Dec. 4 with Judge Brody Childers on the bench. A number of individuals facing charges were absent from court. Warrants were issued for the arrest of many of these individuals. Among the cases heard were:
James Gray – Gray was charged with driving with an expired tag or no tag. He was found guilty in absence. He was assessed a total of $332.25 in fines and court costs, his driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Billy J. Wooten – Wooten was charged with speeding (83 in a 65 zone). He was found guilty in absence. He was assessed a total of $298 in fines and court costs, his driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Tanya Winifred Prettyman – Prettyman was charged with speeding (82 in a 65 zone). She was found guilty in absence. She was assessed a total of $298 in fines and court costs, her driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Jessica Jones – Jones was charged with having no inspection or an expired inspection sticker and speeding (85 in a 65 zone). She was found guilty in absence. She was assessed a total of $426 in fines and court costs, her driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Gina Sue Simpson – Simpson was charged with speeding (84 in a 65 zone). She was found guilty in absence. She was assessed a total of $298 in fines and court costs, her driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Thomas Duncan Callens – Callens was charged with speeding (93 in a 65 zone). He was found guilty in absence. He was assessed a total of $315 in fines and court costs, his driver’s license was suspended and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
